I had high hopes for this pub. I'd heard good things from friends and my boyfriend but unfortunately when i visited last weekend, the food was not up to scratch. I had the cod and chips as did my boyfriend. The prices are rather expensive but this is Brighton so i wasn't overly surprised. What did surprise me was the quantity. It was so small! We (foursome) popped in for lunch; excellent service, friendly attentive and helpful staff, I had Ravioli, which was very tasty but a/ could have been hotter and b/ needed much more sauce. Otherwise very good. Excellent ice creams.

stumbled across this one whilst walking through lanes in the day said we would go back and we was not disappointed service was great food was great and people watching from the outside eating was fun.
