Today we visited for a friends birthday, we visited the walrus often for drinks only as we usually favor other restaurants for a roast dinner but after one of our party visited last week and highly recommended, we decided to give it a go and this was a bad decision. The cauliflower cheese was cold and overdone, the potatoes were so crispy there was no potato left inside and the 'pink' beef was a few hours past pink. Quality fresh ingredients, lots of meat and egg in the fried rice, good level of spice. Overall was just really good quality. Really impressed overall and will be buying from Happy Inn again!

It was a Friday Eve so we booked in advance.. no need as the restaurant was empty! On a Friday! Food wasn’t up to much. I had fish and chips..the chips were burnt, tucked under the fish which was extremely dry ...all very mediocre..staff were pleasant though ... so thank you nice staff!
