Walked past and driven past this pub and always wanted to try it. I (wrongly) thought that it was a bit spit & sawdust, but I actually found it to have a good atmosphere without the pretence that many hipster brighton pubs have nowadays.The barstaff are super helpful and friendly and the prices very reasonable. Came here for a drink with a friend. Sign said there'd be a warm welcome, which there wasn't, but I felt really comfortable there. It's a decent space, nice crowd on a Wednesday night. Good beer, would be nice to have some more varied nibbles but otherwise great pub!

A nice local's pub smartly decorated with friendly staff. Darts and a pool table for those who want.A decent place to spend a few hours with friends or pop in for a pint and chat to staff or regulars.
