They don't do food anymore which was a real disappointment as I used to love the food here. Staff were friendly and the pub was looking a bit smarter however the building site next to the garden isn't the best view.
Small pub with a large garden area in the heart of the south lanes. Plenty of craft beers available as well as your normal array of drinks. The outside area is really great, sheltered with heaters so perfect all year round.

The best freshly made Thai food in Brighton. Mae Tic’s food has been a firm favourite of mine, family and friends since she ran her restaurant in the Hare and Hounds. We have followed Tic to the Hop Poles with her new restaurant and the food never disappoints with its authentic fresh ingredients, truly Thai and very reasonable prices. We’ll be back for lunches in the lead up to Christmas and in 2024.
