This cafe hides in a rather unprepossessing parade of shops hidden up in Bevendean and as a result it is rather tucked away and not quite on the way to anywhere. It is a good choice for a simple, tasty casual lunch.Offerings include a very good soup, jacket potatoes, pasta dishes, fried breakfasts etc. I had the soup which was both delicious and served with attention to detail, herb-toasted bread and a suggestion from the owner that the chilli sauce would add a bit of extra zing....read full review
Great place with really friendly people.One minor irritation thoughI was sitting outside with friends last summer and got in toSmall argument with a guy with a dog who lives above the cafe.His dog ,a black and white sheepdog type, is quite snappy.It caused a problem with my table .Words were exchanged and we were bombarded with lots of verbal abuse.Been back a few times ,he always seems to be floating around with his dog or another woman,I have seen him away from the place and...read full review
