We didn’t eat this time but after the change in management it took a few weeks to get the regular Wednesday Quiz back up and running. It’s now back with a great atmosphere making for a fun evening out. Long may it continue.

First time visiting Ye Olde Black Horse in Rottingdean. I felt very welcomed by the manager who served us, whilst having some lovely chats with her. In addition to this, I found her staff to be very polite and friendly. I ordered beer battered cod and chips with tartare sauce… cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef!! If you’re looking for a place to chill and eat in Rottingdean I highly recommend this pub :)

I have to say, and im not one to leave reviews, but i am disgusted by what has been said in the last few reviews on here, and i can only say i believe it to relate to monday evening (19/02) when I was visiting family and friends in the area and enjoying a drink and sadly heard everything.I was at the bar in this pub on Monday evening, and I really don't think what has been said is even to be true.
