Stumbled in here midweek after a long walk in the surrounding beautiful countryside. Cannot fault the quality of the food although the vegetarian in our party of 4 did find the selection a bit limited. Beer was equally good! Service missed getting five stars as our food order was slow to be taken. Staff friendly and helpful so I am perhaps being a bit pernickety! Went for our birthday, lunchtime meal, couldn't have been better looked after by Lyn, unexpected glass of fizz and candles in the dessert. Food was very good and I can recommend the three small desserts on the menu. Would definitely visit again.
