“Spent my 60th birthday with Carl and his fabulous team yesterday. 11 Sunday roasts. All perfect. Vegetables cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings to die for. They accommodated table decorations and balloons along with a birthday cake surprise. Fantastic afternoon. Couldn't recommend the Bricklayers more highly. PS. LIghtest fluffiest cheesecake in the WORLD ?”

“This is an excellent 17th century country pub and hotel, low wooden beams. And modern accommodation annexes and a garden at the rear. And even a massive field for camping, with many wigwam tents lined up.”

“Came with a friend and had a nice white wine. We also shared the summer platter which was tasty and good value as we didn't want a full meal but needed more than chips to share.”
