I have lived in Hastings 44 years and have never tried this place, having finally tried their food, I feel like I’ve missed out for years. The best curry I’ve eaten in town. I’ve spent years trying all the curry houses, and they’ve all been pretty average. This was so far above the others it’s not true. The taste was sublime. You could taste all the flavours they put in. Went Wednesday night with two friends and it was excellent. Don't be put off by it's unassuming appearance, the place was spotless, with the kitchen in full view.As for the food, it was flavourful and well spiced with generous portions from the extensive menu.The owner/chef is very friendly with attentive service, and as a bonus you can bring your own wine and there is no corkage fee.Highly recommended and will definitely return.
