They really couldn’t do enough for us & our guests, made the whole night so enjoyable, from the kind staff, the service, the venue, the drinks selections, price, everything was just perfect! “It is simply a delight from the beginning of the booking until the end of our meal. All the staff put so much love into their job, even writing an anniversary card was so lovely. I felt a bit nervous as my first dinner was hard to finish after dish number 6, however this time I chose a smaller lunch menu and ate half the bread instead and shared 2 extras and that was more manageable! I loved it so much that I am already considering another meal. I still remember some delicious rasperry sorbet from end of 2019. This time I loved the duck egg, soup, steak, snacks and the dessert, also scallop was lush! Very well done team Etch xxx”

“Went for a Sunday roast with two friends and it couldn’t have been better. Fantastic roast, great wine and such friendly staff. Really good with gluten free as well which can be rare with a pub roast, I could even have a Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be back.”

“The friendliness of the staff especially Shannon and Kevin the chef were exceptional, like you had known them all your life. The food was just amazing. I had the soup of the day and on an exceptional cold day was more than welcome. The chowder was just the best and when the full roast arrived, oh my what a culinary delight. “Everything about this cafe is great! The decor is super cute and photogenic, and the food is different from any other cafe i’ve seen. We all tried the Frumpets and they were interesting! The raspberry mocha was incredible, and i’d come again just for that!”
