Best Fish and Chips in the area and most competitive price too!Every time I get and chips from somewhere else it's never as good as the seahorse and I always wish I hadn't tried somewhere else.What I love:The chips are crispy and properly cooked: in other chippies chips can be white, barely cooked chunks of potato.The fish isn't overly fishy, there's no tail or skin on display, just fish fillet covered in tasty crispy batter.
The regular fish is BIG and only £4.50 and tasty. The chips are nice too. The owner is friendly. It says they close at 10pm, but get in before 9 30pm as they seem to stop cooking chips!

Some days the chips are so beautifully crispy but we have had days when they are soaked in oil and are all soft with a slimy texture. The vegetarian options are overpriced for what they are (store bought pasties or for a veggie burger with no condiments). Other than that, chip can be really lovely if cooked right on the day.
