“Booked for lunch after a mornings walk [31/10] and I have to say I was very impressed with the pub, staff and the lunch. Food was excellent [Sausage & Mash] with the sausages being super tasty. Washed down with a Harvey's Best, what more could you ask for. Overall, an excellent pub and great VFM - IMHO.”

“We came in here for lunch the other day, thoroughly enjoyed the food especially the rib of beef which was cooked to perfection. Said we will come back before we leave and here we are. I had the Rib eye which once again was cooked perfectly and my wife had the Lasagna and that was lovely too. The host on our lunch visit made us feel very welcome and equally the host tonight was more than welcoming. The pub itself is beautiful. Great value for money huge portions ? ?”

“Great little takeaway - always ready when they say it will be. Best Paneer tikka and Biriyani out of all the local curry houses (trust me I’ve tried them all ?), king prawns are large and tasty, all about the food, location is a bit unusual. Even get a beer for collection over a certain amount.”
