Went here as part of the CAMRA Ale trail with the kids. As a Harvey’s associated pub it’s not surprising the Best Bitter is very good. In fact I would go as far to say it was one of the best pulled pints of Best I’ve had outside of Lewes.The garden is big and has an excellent wooden climbing frame with slide and swings for the kids.We didn’t eat there but will definitely return and sample the menu.The service and clientele were friendly and welcoming.All round great pub
Brilliant place for a large group…. We were 23 for lunch and we all had hot delicious pizza which arrived at the same time! No mean feat! Lovely friendly staff too, sat in the pretty garden and had a lovely afternoon.

Fantastic pub !! There are a couple of other pubs in the village, but I personally would swerve them and head straight for the Crown. I only wish there were more village pubs like this, they’re becoming hard to find . If you like an ale try the Long man ?
