This can be a busy pub restaurant on a hot summers day but today it was pleasantly quiet for lunch.Quite a large pub with outside seating nicely decorated with pleasant staff.Stunning views of the English Channel & the smell of the sea enhances the location in Tescombe just 4 miles east of Brighton.The meals were excellent & today's choice was Haddock Fishcakes & Pie of the Day, Steak & Kidney.We'll worth a visit.

A good menu with a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian choices. The Beef linguine had a lovely rich sauce complemented by tasty garlic bread slices.Our waiter Addison provided a calm and proficient service but was hampered by the slow kitchen service. The pub was not full on the Saturday lunchtime when my table of 5 entered at 13:35. A 40 minute wait between order and plate was excessive.Parking: The adjacent east side of the pub.
