“Oscar’s recently kindly allowed us to have a wake at the venue, the location had a lot of meaning to us and is in such a great spot. We were so pleased with how we were looked after by the team there . From the start , Casey was so accommodating and kind , nothing was too much trouble. Casey provided a beautiful buffet , the food was just delicious, the best buffet I’ve ever had , and many others said so too. There was a big selection of dishes and the amount of food was really generous in size. There was more than plenty to go round. The drinks prices are the most reasonable I have seen in the area . The venue is cosy and relaxed , a lovely family run place . We loved it so much we are going back for our Christmas dinner. Can’t recommend this Oscar’s highly enough xx”

“A local, family run pub but hospitable to visitors, too. We had a really nice meal which was also very reasonably priced. Polite staff and a great outside space. If I lived in Hastings I'd come here regularly. Two of us had the veggie option - mushroom pie and one had the mixed grill. Satisfied bellies all round ?”

“We had a lovely meal for two for my partners birthday. Set price Monday to Thursday. The chef knows his stuff as the food was flavoursome and cooked to perfection. We had Sea Bass, and for dessert (save some space), I had baked custard, plum and honeyed oats it was delicious. My partner had the chocolate torte. Both desserts you savour every mouthful as so tasty.. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitly recommend :-). Quality food reasonable price.”

“First time here great service staff exemplary to detail chicken and meatball pasta meals very tasty as we're the sticky toffee and the apple n black cherry crumble definitely will go again. We went again had Gammon and pineapple coleslaw also a very good meal and once again cannot praise our waiter Chris highly enough very polite communication excellent. As with all staff great service could do with these guys in our local.”
