Friendly and helpful service. Generous portions of tasty fish in a light, almost tempura batter. The chips are first class - crispy outside and fluffy in the middle. Reasonable prices too, our weekly fish and chips for three costs £2 less than at The Kingfisher or Deep Blue.
After living in St. Leonards for 3 years last night we found the best fish and chips, having tried quite a few, none of the others compete. The fish was beautifully cooked in wonderful light batter and still very hot when it arrived. The chips were also excellent and just enough for the 2 of us. Only comment is why can't we order directly. Will continue to use Big fish from now on. We had huss (rock salmon).

Only place I've found where the fish is never overcooked and remains succulent with a nice light batter.The portion size is large as well.Been using this place for last 2 years with no complaints.
