Amazing welcome and gave Bilbo a fresh water bowl and blanket to sit on without asking! Opened the kitchen early for us too so we could share a fantastic Welcome Brunch. Whole experience was superb and lifted our spirits on a very bleak and dismal day.X

We go for Sunday lunch a few times a year with my mum. The choices are good and the food has always been top quality. Definitely worth a visit if you are the area for a good value meal.Parking: The pub has a small car park behind the building, probably room for 10 cars.

The fish and chips were amazing!! ??The chips were the best ever and I’m fussy when it comes to chips. The batter was crunchy and crisp, like the chips and the portion was very generous. The staff are always attentive and the pub had good amount of people in it, even for a Monday night. Five stars to Hayley, Kelly and their excellent team. Compliments to the chef!! A group of 21 of us went for Christmas lunch. I had the traditional Xmas lunch and Xmas pud, both were delicious. Others in the group made other choices, but all seemed to really enjoy it. Service was excellent. Highly recommended
