Been back a couple of weeks ago and it is worse than ever. £9.60 for a small piece of fish and over £4 for a very poor and not large portion of chips, which were not cooked very well. Have to say that fish and chips is now one of the worst value for money fast foods. Basically the same price a decent curry. I won't be going back.Had fish and chips from here last week. Not as good as I remember from visits a couple of years ago.Fish portions are definitely smaller and were overcooked....read full review
I thought I would treat my mum to an oap special (unfortunately nothing special about it) I used to use this chip shop always as great staff free parking. But this time something went wrong! chips cold and fish hard and dry and a very small portion compared to last time! really disappointed no treat for mum. ?

They tend to blow hot or cold, one day the food will be exceptional, blasting furnace hot, bursting with flavour and huge portions. The next it’ll be like warm, bone dry (chicken) as if it been sitting there from the day before and a child size portion.When they are good they are fantastic… when they are on an “off day” you’re better off going somewhere else.Sorry.
