They tell you and hour and a half delivery, I called after 2 hours and told the driver is 5 minutes away, he definitely wasn’t not worth 3 hour wait, the lady on the front desk is so rude and will lie when you call.

don't deliver all of your take away and tell you your too far away to drop off what they have forgotten, even though your only 3 miles away and paid for delivery and its not the first time this has happened!

Very rude phone staff and delivery staff. Practically heard the driver slating me on loudspeaker when the call handler phoned him to see where my order was.Food is so overpriced and salty.Will stick with jade garden in the future!

Attempted to call to cancel the order fairly quickly after ordering. The phone number listed on the email did not work and when we finally managed to find the correct number, the customer service was poor when we tried to explain our situation and that we had been trying to cancel the order although due to the info supplied by them we were unable to do so. We have been charged over £50 and this restaurant is refusing to give any sort of refund!!

I ordered food for 7pm and it turned up at 5pm. I then realised that I had been charged more than the payment I had authorised, and got variously told it was the delivery charge and alternatively a service charge, neither of which were mentioned on their website. Just be warned... EVERY other Chinese in Braintree provide free delivery, and for an order over £40, I would have expected free delivery.

no customer service at all - phone number listed doesn’t work. tried to cancel an order but couldn’t as the phone number didn’t work, and when we finally got through, the staff refused to acknowledge the fact their phone number didn’t work. didn’t get a refund for around a £50 order and no food.

We phoned up and placed an order to be told it would be 45 mins to an hour wait. 10 mins after the due Time we phoned again to be told it would be 5 mins. Didn't turn up. We then tried phoning again but the company seemed to pick phone up and put it down straight away.1 half hours after the first phone call we got our food which wasn't the best we'd had.I won't personally be using this company for food ever again as the terrible service.

Tried to cancel order immediately using the phone number on the confirmation email, no answer after 10 rings on multiple phones. Then found another number online where they told us it was too late to cancel. Two different numbers, denied being rang on the number which was linked on confirmation email, would not give refund!
I was sick after eating some chips here, oil must be bad.

Ordered from here for the first time on the 19/09/23 at 18:15 food didn’t arrive until 1945 called multiple times to be informed that it was just being cooked even after an 1hr called them again to chase and then was out for delivery. Food was pretty much cold for a 5 minute drive!First and last time ordering from this place

I am absolutely appalled by the response if silver bowl ..last night we ordered a meal at a cost if over £33 as had a friend over ..however the order was placed at 6.30 told delivery would be between 7.15-7.30 ..then after 3 phone calls to them later being told food was on its way we finally told them to cancel our order at 9 as friend had gone home and meal was not delivered ...yet the shop has told just eat that we got out meal so can not get a refund ..warning others to be very careful if they order food from these people as it has gone right down hill lately and now for them to lie and say enjoy your meal is just not on shame on you ...that is not how to run a business ...not good
