We have used Silver Bowl for many years. Food and service has always been excellent and I have reccomended them numerous times however the last couple of meals have been below par and the containers have been tipped sideways so half the sauce is in the bag. Didn’t enjoy the food at all ! Worst one I have had . My egg fried rice didn’t have any egg . The chicken noodle soup was a disappointment too . Egg noodles tasted okayish but barely had eggOnly dish I enjoy and was worth paying for was the chicken sweet corn soup . Would really appreciate the dishes are cooked right for the price .

I ordered food for 7pm and it turned up at 5pm. I then realised that I had been charged more than the payment I had authorised, and got variously told it was the delivery charge and alternatively a service charge, neither of which were mentioned on their website. Just be warned... EVERY other Chinese in Braintree provide free delivery, and for an order over £40, I would have expected free delivery.
