Had another excellent meal here last night. Good atmosphere with a juke box quietly playing 60s era music. There is a good choice of pub favourites to choose from. My favourite is the Thai curry and my husband likes the liver and bacon but we have had the sausages, fish and chips and scampi. For red meat eaters there are burgers etc. Excellent ale too. We held the wake for my late brother here in March and the pub put on a really good spread for his carers and relatives....read full review

Le pub le plus convivial que je connaisse. Il y a un billard et un jeux de fléchettes super. Le lieux est a vraiment du style et la nourriture est esquisse. Étant français, c'est mon pub anglais préférés pour le moment ?

Decent food. Enjoyed the roast dinner. Food was good quality and hot. Nice staff. Only minor negatives being lack of draught beers and conservatory eating area was very hot even with doors open. However, food and service outweighed any minor issues
