Have not been here for a number of years as last experience was awful but was recommended to come back and was so pleased we have excellent service and a very good reasonable price meal will certainly be back our sever Katie was a joy.

Went to the White Hart Restaurant for a valentine's meal. Food was great, especially the boneless beef rib main course. Restaurant was nicely decorated for the evening and our service was excellent. Kay in particular was particularly helpful all evening. Will be going again.

Didn't stay in the hotel, just had dinner in the restaurant, although I know the rooms are nice.It was unfortunate this is the 3rd time we have been in 18 months or so and seem to be experiencing some bad luck. The first time there were lots of items missing off the menu. The second time there was a function meaning we couldn't go in the restaurant. This was fine but because of the focus getting the function ready (the manager told us "the room still wasn't set up and the function was going to start in an hour" we had a long wait for food.Unfortunately last night the kitchen was short staffed which caused some service issues too. The waitresses were fine but it seems there were some problems in the kitchen.A shame but always fairly decent food.
