Great place for fish and chips all cooked fresh. Plenty on your plate. Family place .a nice clean bright restaurant with toilet room. Friday night is a very busy takeway but then that is a good sign is it not? Large fish is LARGE and so many chips. No messing Here. The best chippy in Braintree for food.I personally drive 15 miles to buy food from Oysters.A large portion of chips is large enough for two to three Brits (or one American) and I always have a few meals from it.I was disappointed that they stopped doing Pukka pasties and they changed to a different flavoured lamb. Best fish shop in town for quality and size! Staff are also the friendliest around. Maybe 50 pence more for higher end food, but it is worth every penny.(Written while eating the bag of chips I have just grab a moment ago)
