Bought a coffee and drank coffee in the car before leaving the services. Was then issued with a parking fine of £170. I've repeatedly contested this ridiculous fine but they've refused to back down.
Bought petrol here on June 17. Today, August 31, I receive a letter (the first and only one) from Debt Recovery Plus saying I've ignored all their previous letters and owe £175 for an unpaid parking charge or will be taken to court. I literally filled up with fuel and left to continue my drive home, so was in the Petrol Station for 5 - 10 minutes max. On what basis could I have received this parking charge? No information on how to appeal. Will never use this or any other Shell...read full review
