Sports bar is a great place to take our dog for a drink after a walk on Sea wall. Staff are friendly with sensible prices. You can get a meal here as well. There is multiple screens here for sport. If you stay longer you put your car reg on there computer as it's free. Great place highly recommend.

Nice little beach and sea front. Area could do with some investment but it's not bad to take the kids for a day out. Amusement park, fun fair, arcade, fish and chips, Ice cream and over priced beach toys lol. Recommend if you want somewhere a less busy than Southend for a bit of sand and seaKid-friendliness: Very kids friendly area with lots of stuff for younger and slightly older kids.Parking: A could of car parks at the sea front. Easy to find a space.

It's not the best but it's really not bad either. The sand is very coarse so not great for sandcastles but the kids had a blast anyway. When the tide is out it's is a bit muddy. Beach was litter free with loads of benches. Parking was only a fiver for the whole day. There are 2 fairs joined together so have a look around first to see what rides you like.
