First time visiting and was very impressed! Polite and very friendly staff all around,was made to feel welcome :) the food was just 10/10 delicious! And very reasonably priced. Comfortable and spacious table, the music by Jimpster was amazing! We can't wait to come back already :)
Have been visiting Acanteen for years. Indeed a year ago I met my beloved there as our first date, an excellent choice where we spent 3 odd hours getting to know each other.Classy interior with good ambient music playing overhead. Squashy cosy sofa area at the front of the restaurant and more covential bench/table seat out back. Best roast dinner in Chelmsford. The house Reuben is delicious and the coffee great too. Only criticism is they can forget about you and the service is a mixed bag depending on visits, had dinner come out before drinks at one visit. When they get it right tho it's a fantastic restaurant and
