We were looking on Google maps to find a place to eat, and we found Jolly Roger’s. Walking on the busy pier to sit in quiet place was worth it. Food was delicious, fish was so tender and juicy. Portion was big enough to feed someone who likes to eat.
Nice diner at the edge of the pier with a great view and classic decor to match it.Staff are welcoming and extremely friendly.We only order a snack between a few of us so I cannot comment about the food too much.

Whenever we go to Clacton for the day, we ALWAYS go to Jolly Roger's Restaurant for a cup of tea and abit of cake, or ometimes for lunch. The staff are lovely and it is great to sit and watch the fishermen on the pier from inside the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable too. Whatever the weather, you get a warm welcome here.
