We had a couple of nights in clacton and felt we must sample this off the commercial track type pub. Bottom line a great local boozer with plenty of entertainment from the locals. Stayed for a couple of hours and enjoyed our time on a pub bench out the front. If you like your karaoke at 4pm on a sunday your in for a treat.. ?
A friendly pub, with a good mix of old and young people, and very reasonable prices. The local people made us feel very welcome and we shared a game of pool. Reminded me of a old school pub were you could have a great time and a laugh, which are a rare place these days. And Jaywick has a nice beach to with sand not shingle
