We had a family birthday Dinner, delicious starters and mains. My daughter has to avoid a number of food ingredients, but their menu is very informative so she was able to make a choice from a number of possibilities. We had meat and fish dishes, there is a wide choice, and all prepared by Tom the owner/Chef. He takes great pride in serving the finest food, and ensuring his customers enjoy their visit. There is a good range of Wines, Spirits and Cocktails to accompany your food and his prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning again soon.Dietary restrictions: My daughter needs to choose from Dairy and Gluten free, there was a good choice for her.

Great food and nice staff..?

Decor and furnishing needs updating a lot. However the team were brilliant especially accommodating for our baby's needs. Too much food on plates do not need fries with wraps.

There is a reason why this place is rated no1 it’s nothing short of amazing, the food we had was superb, cooked to perfection, the nicest seafood I think I’ve ever had. There was so many great choices on the menu we’ve got to go back, a lot!!. This must be the best hidden gem we have found. Miss it, miss

We had a table of 8 on a Sunday and as always the staff were very attentive, even though it was busy. I had the chowder and roast lamb dinner, which was delicious. We are very lucky to have the Rosebud as our local restaurant, it never disappoints.

Great pub grub and well presented real ales, an ideal spot for lunch or an evening meal.

We had been a couple of times to the Rosebud for a bite to eat and a drink over Christmas and they were very busy, so decided to visit and try the special Burger and a drink which has to be booked on the Rosebud Facebook page which is very easy to do. As soon as you walk in it feels lovely, warm and cosy with the wood burner glowing, nearly all the tables were taken, and we were seated next to the bar. We ordered a pint of beer and a glass of wine, Burger, chips, coleslaw, and onion rings which were excellent for £10 each followed by two scoops of quality ice cream at £1.50 per scoop. Would have liked a Liquere coffee but to full, watched the chicken burger coming out and will be trying that next time. Both the ladies that were serving were very pleasant and welcoming and happily chatted to you which in itself is unusual these days. Fantastic menu which we are looking forward to trying in the future with our friends. I can thoroughly recommend the Rosebud.

Cozy cottage restaurant. Felt very homely right from the start. Food was lovely and staff were friendly. There’s unfortunately not many dog friendly restaurants in the area, so this was perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

This absolutely wonderful restaurant has food to dream about days after. The seafood is just superbly cooked, presented and has the rich flavours of the sea. We have dined here for several years and the quality has never altered as well as the most friendly atmosphere and staff. I can truly say that you would not be disappointed making a visit to the Rosebud, but make sure you book as it is very popular at any time.

This pub/restaurant is simply superb! This is a no frills, all original British pub but so much more is on offer. You will struggle to enjoy better food anywhere else locally or even nationally. The menu is really varied and well thought out but with a reasonable emphasis on seafood. (Milk poached haddock with a crispy egg - what a revelation!). The prices are decent too and the service is exceptional. Really attentive and friendly staff. We’ve been a number of times including lunch time and evenings. There are regular offers posted on their Facebook page which are such good value (essential to book in advance for these). A really great eatery - highly recommended. Oh and tip top cocktails as well!
