Old Bakery Cafe
High St, Dedham, ColchesterLovely little venue for a quick bite. Ordered the Old Bakery breakfast. The food was lovely and well presented. The one small issue was that the toast was cold which for me spoilt the meal. The rest of the food was delicious. The place was clean and fresh, although the restrictions on the path outside separated our group of 3. The service was truly lovely, the owners were kind, apologetic about the seating outside and gave great service. The price of the meal was in keeping with the area where you'd expect to pay a little more in a charming village in a higher class area. Will return in future.

The Marlborough
Mill Ln, Dedham, ColchesterLove love this place. Always meet with a smile, the staff especially Teresa and Robin are all very welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and cosy like a big hug! Food is delicious regardless of what you order. The ingredients used are of high standard and the flavours are beyond mind blowing. Highly recommend a visit and/or stay.

No dogs allowed so has to be outside with rolling fields to look at.
Have bought many items over the years, but the burgers were very bland this time....lack seasoning. Ribs were tasty.
