Went with friends to catch up and had a great evening. The Chicken Pathia I had was one of the best that I have ever tasted. The onion bhajis were presented nicely in a basket and there were lots of them. I can't recommend the restaurant more highly. I have long been looking for an Indian that can deliver a Pathia this well, and now I've found it. We are from out of town and I was coming to Southend to buy a car and I fancied some food after the 2 hour drive here and we was recommended to come here by a friend and WOW!!! I would actually travel back just for the food it was unreal and the service was amazing so polite and respectful and properly treat you with care. Probably the best Indian I’ve ever had and I love Indian a 10/10 from me. We will deffo be coming back.

We have become regulars over the past couple of years, love the food and the service is great. There’s an extensive menu and every dish served, we have tried many, is lovely and fresh. Leigh has a lot of Indian restaurants so there’s a fair bit of competition. The Mughal for me is up there with the best and currently our favourite.
