My vegan dish was delicious, the wine fabulous, the service was terrific and the atmosphere was buzzing. Totally recommend (but do book to avoid disappointment). ?

My sister in law and I had just been turned away from another restaurant spot because we had a buggy with us and we weren’t allowed in “in case they got busy” so we left and headed down to The Brunch Co - and we were so glad we did.
Immediately greeted by Archie who confirmed how many we wanted per table and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with moving tables and chairs to allow us to sit in the corner. Straight away both my sister in law and I felt so much better in this environment.
Overwhelmed by the menu, we asked Archie for his favourites and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Lemon Drizzle Iced Latte, White Chocolate & Hazelnut Iced Latte. Pondering over the variety of food options, Archie recommended the Chocolate Pancakes (which were elite) and I went for the Halloumi wrap.
Both items came quickly, the iced latte’s were 10/10 - full of flavour and perfect to title. Food shortly joined and equally both of us were impressed with the presentation and how fresh it was.
The overall vibe of the place was cosy, professional and welcoming. The cocktail bar element with Brunch & Coffee’s available works so well for all times of the day. Rumour’s stated that they’re opening another location which would definitely be a hit. The server when we paid (didn’t catch his name) was telling us all about the history of the business and could see his passion for his job.
We’ve already made arrangements to go back and take our partners to try more of the menu. Would definitely recommend and thanks to Archie for being so accommodating.

The location is excellent, especially if you enjoy relaxing views and a classic British coastal setting. Inside, the venue feels welcoming, clean, and well looked after. Staff were friendly, polite, and quick to help, which made the visit even better.
The food was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. There was a good choice on the menu, with something for everyone, whether you want a light lunch or a full meal. Portions were satisfying and good value for the quality. Drinks were also served promptly and at the right temperature.
What I liked most was the atmosphere – lively but still comfortable enough to sit and enjoy conversation. It feels like a place locals love and visitors remember. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a casual stop after a walk nearby. I would happily return and recommend The Peterboat to anyone visiting the area.

29-35 Broadway W, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-SeaDefinitely one of the better pizzas around the Leigh area, great base and yummy tomato, the wait staff were so sweet and friendly, I love the music, cracking play list!
Points deducted for some of the most uncomfortable seating my bottom and back have had to endure-either a choice of extremely horrid, hard backed, plywood nursery school chairs or soggy banquette seating that’s seen better days, barely any foam support- I left with a back ache. Additionally the rocket salad was a bag of rocket with the teeniest amount of pesto drizzle- it was dry, limp and uninspiring.
All that said- I would defo return, I’d just bring a cushion with me!!
Guys- please sort out your seating!!!

I didn't realise it had a new buyer but it was convenient for me that day with unexpected visitor. The food tasted different, in fact I asked if the waitress if they were new. . Then discovered she was the owner along with her husband. Hadn't been in there for 2 yrs as the freshness of the food was not up to scratch, but this time, the food was so great and they are such lovely genuine people, I have booked my birthday celebration there. You could tell it was fresh good wholesome food and my friend enjoyed hers so much. We went in for a snack type thing but ended up with 3 courses each. I'm so pleased they are on my doorstep. I wish them all the luck in the world and we are all looking forward to my birthday bash.

There is a private room there, that seats 8 people comfortably, and it is a great space for a small celebration. The roast yesterday was so good that we booked to go back!

She was also very welcoming too; will be back again and again and again.

Delicious food and lovely staff and atmosphere, they always make room for us and nothing is too much trouble, even making our favourite dish Keema Bhuna which is not on the menu. The naan bread is honestly the best we’ve ever had, it’s out of this world! If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience then look no further, highly recommended.

It was highly recommended by a friend and I have to say it's one of the best places for a great Indian. Every bit of meat served is delicious and tender. So reasonable with price. Huge portions. This is definitely my new go-to when I'm in need of an Indian. My son, who is in extremely fussy eater, enjoys every mouthful, Very polite service so happy to have been guided to this gem.

They are very understanding of allergies and my son, who has many allergies, really enjoys the pancakes. We are very grateful to them. Always pleasant when you pick up or get a delivery. The food...just superb. The people who turn their noses up at kebab obviously have not had a Broadway Grill chicken kebab....wow! Thanks guys!

Went on Sunday 24th with my grown up kids to watch the football. Had booked a table and we had a great position in clear view of two screens showing the games.
They were extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble, the staff were very attentive, always had smiles on their faces and made sure we had everything we wanted, we didn’t have to move from our table.
We all had main meals which were plentiful and absolutely delicious, I am a very fussy eater but couldn’t fault my meal, or anyone else’s.
Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

I have a nut allergy and I've never found anywhere that can cook up a perfect Tikka Masala that is also free from nuts and safe to eat. Called ahead of ordering and they were polite and helpful and made me feel confident in ordering from them.

Very good email communication which provided great reassurance. We had 35-40 people in a privately reserved area at the cocktail bar which was the perfect private space! The buffet food was amazing. Freshly cooked and of the best quality. All our guests commented on the great spread. The atmosphere was lovely a relaxed and the staff totally attentive! Pricing very good too! Thank you The Oakleigh team! Highly recommended! First class!

We hired the restaurant for my mum’s 60th birthday and they could not have been more accommodating. It was just the two of them serving and cooking for 23 people yet somehow the service was impeccable and the food was excellent! Every single person said the food was incredible - not one complaint. They are a dream team and I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Beautiful people, beautiful food. Thank you so much for making our day so special and going above and beyond.

Michael did a brilliant job of showing us everything, answering all our questions about brewing and the life of a brewer. A lovely breakfast, a fantastic lunch with loads of beer tasting through the day, beer to take away and a t shirt! I recommend so highly!
