Sunday saver essex buses we trekked from Chelmford to Maldon to see Promenade Park, the petting zoo, bit of bird watching over the marshland estuary and then a 10minute walk away from town to this Henri's Grill. (The Henri's that used to be in the Chelmsford Snooker and bowling club was really good). Maybe we were a bit early for beers and lunch as the first girl at the bar didn't seem to know if the food dining area was going to be open soon, but just after 12 a few more families...read full review
Such a lovely meal today. The food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, tasty? and piping hot. Portions were on the large side but loved the idea of a doggy bag to take home. The staff are so friendly and very helpful?Great atmosphere and enjoyed the day. Thank you guys and see you soon ?

The restaurant was well decorated and clean. Had nice atmosphere with the bowling alley to the side of the bar. Service was friendly and fast.Hunters chicken and fish and chips ordered side of garlic bread. presentation was clearly done by someone who cared.Food was very nice and good value. 2 mains, side, beer and a wine for less than £40.Would go back again for sure.
