Brentwood Rd, Orsett, GraysWOW, seriously! I was recommended my Vince at ThamesView camping, and I'm glad I asked him. The ladies in there (no lads!) worked like a well-oiled machine, quick, efficient, and the food was cooked to perfection.. all while having a smile on their faces and making us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was lovely in there, and there were 8 very happy bellies, so I highly recommend this Café. Great selection, create your own breakfasts for the smaller bellies or someone not wanting to spend too much, and spaces to park. Brilliant place! ?

The Dog and Partridge
Brentwood Rd, Orsett, GraysFood was amazing. Really tasty and full of flavour. Would be back for the food.
Staff not exactly most friendly to people who haven't visited before. Umbrella fell on us knocking a beer onto the food, no apology for offer of a replacement despite willing to pay. No bottom stand for umbrella.
Sat outside for sun.

The Foxhound
18 High Rd, Orsett, GraysWe had our daughters 16th party in the hall last night. The staff were great, so friendly and attentive, right from when we were setting up in the afternoon until we left at the end of the night, nothing was too much trouble. The food was so nice and there was plenty of it. Would definitely recommend.

McDonald's
BP Service Area, Stanford Road, Orsett GraysSlow service. To eat in or take away seems like your orders are pushed to the back so they can focus on takeaway orders mainly.
All the delivery drivers seem to go in barging their way through rudely so the atmosphere isn't a nice place to actually want to go into and eat.
The place is hectic and not set out right for a place to eat in.
We decided to take away in the end.
