My wife ordered a bottle of wine and asked for an ice bucket. It didn’t arrive, so no big deal. Asked passing waitress who was wearing a sash for an ice bucket. This was received with a deep sigh, a tired look and the comment that they had run out. She strode off before I could point out that the pub was nearly empty. Was that too much trouble. My wife obtained an ice bucket seconds later from another member of staff who was clearly more helpful. Strange attitude, but I must say that the food was really good, so was the wine. In the end really enjoyed the evening. Ordered Katsu Banquet, delicious.

The staff are so rude, especially the blonde haired manager who struts about sneering at customers who aren’t regulars. The chicken and bacon baguette had no bacon, maybe pigs are in short supply? Overall not impressed, I expect better from the Hungry Horse chain.

Went there for a meal as it was my grandsons 21st birthday during that week. We sat there drinking our drinks and that horrible rude manageress sent youg barmaid over to see if boys had id.they showed it but they wouldn't except it so they took their drinks away. Their id was on the green king website. My daughter went to see her but she was so rude she would not deal with it so leaving young barmaid because she was to gutless to sort it.its about time she got the sack as she's upset alot of people. When my husband was alive we always went there but we will not set foot in there anymore. It cost us 12 50 each way taxi fare to go there and be insulted

Visited for the first time ! As a veggie myself wasn't expecting much, how wrong was I, I had a beyond meat stack, it was delicious. There was other choices for me to which is unusual. My daughters meal was so tasty and my grandsons burger was better than macdonalds! (Must be good eh) we will definitely return,so if you want a friendly, value for money, meat or veggie/vegan friendly place to eat. Go ask for Michelle, she was a friendly but busy member of staff, who made us welcome.

After attending a family meal I would definitely return I have never been to this establishment but decided to try it and I wasn't disappointed the food was lovely and the staff very polite especially one lady called clare who went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed she is a great asset to this pub

The Anne Boleyn is my local. It’s top-drawer lately, Damien the gov’nor ensuring a good atmosphere having got rid of the local riff-raff/troublemakers and as a result it’s buzzing these days. Sometimes you have to ask to get your pint topped up - but this is the same in any pub these days; just ask. A special shout out to Sasha. She has a such a sunny, friendly disposition. Also Tyler, really friendly and both are a credit to this great local. Also the staff in general, there’s a good vibe here. Kudos the Anne Boleyn!

Phoned up to see if they had any lamb shank. Was told very politely by Michelle that they don’t sell it but have some delicious beef so we got the kids and grandma is the car also with our cocker spaniel Harry. it was delicious would recommend served by Michelle who was amazing. Customer skills on point

A nice large pub, much improved from what I remember from years back. Food is quite nice, nothing spectacular but decent. Ordering via their app really makes it all easier.Will definitely return.
