My wife ordered a bottle of wine and asked for an ice bucket. It didn’t arrive, so no big deal. Asked passing waitress who was wearing a sash for an ice bucket. This was received with a deep sigh, a tired look and the comment that they had run out. She strode off before I could point out that the pub was nearly empty. Was that too much trouble. Visited for the first time ! As a veggie myself wasn't expecting much, how wrong was I, I had a beyond meat stack, it was delicious. There was other choices for me to which is unusual. My daughters meal was so tasty and my grandsons burger was better than macdonalds! (Must be good eh) we will definitely return,so if you want a friendly, value for money, meat or veggie/vegan friendly place to eat. Go ask for Michelle, she was a friendly but busy member of staff, who made us welcome.
After attending a family meal I would definitely return I have never been to this establishment but decided to try it and I wasn't disappointed the food was lovely and the staff very polite especially one lady called clare who went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed she is a great asset to this pub
