Initially, the service was good when the guy took my order and prepared my cappuccino.When I had forgotten to ask for a stirrer, I came back and the guy ignored me completely and didn't even look in my direction when I was right in his direction. I had to hold back and felt annoyed. The other guy couldn't have been bothered to help me. I then repeatedly again asked nicely, he eventually helped me but it shouldn't have been that hard and spoke to me coldly and was not very warm. This was such a let down!

Stood at the counter waiting to be served and give my order for a good 3 minutes while the two girls working just stood and chatting completely ignoring me. Ended up leaving without being served. Was great ?

More expensive than other costs.with 3 staff who never stopped talking to each h other while serving me won't be back to this one for sure

Nice coffee shop in the town centre of Saffron Walden. It was late so there wasn't much choice for cakes but I had the best one of lemon and marmalade.The capuchino coffee with soya milk is free of charge as alternative milk which I appreciate.There was plenty of space and some tables needed to clean a bit but the staff was busy topping up the shelves.Friendly place with nice views.

The food is the standard coffee shop food, so good but not wonderful, but the service was really good and the atmosphere is better than many coffee shops

Was there today 20th April between 12.00 and 1.00 and the two ladies who were working there and served me were amazing and really helpful. I accidentally spilt my hot chocolate and they came over straight away and cleared up and were so nice about it. Wish all your staff was as polite and helpful. Shame I didn't get their names. Can you thank them for me.

Just want to commend the staff at knights park costa .....I work in the retail.park and go in daily. They are currently understaffed and working many hours yet still with a smile on their faces, some days not able to take a break. Though sadly today I've witnessed some very rude customers who should really take a second and think before they speak so unkindly to these young people it's uncalled for and they should be ashamed. So those that read this please in future just take a minute and think do I really need to be a Karen today. Knights park costa staff if your reading this your doing great ?
My 87 year old mother (in a wheelchair) and I selected sandwiches for toasting and, 10 minutes later, as we approached the till we were told we couldn't have them as the store was closing in 20 minutes due to a lack of staff and a plumbing issue! I'm not surprised you're unable to recruit staff for this appalling place. Awful! We won't be returning and will be talking about this for some time.

Saffron Walden is a beautiful place and deserves better than this.The Costa Coffee in the town square was dirty, with tired and worn-out furniture, rude staff - just unpleasant.Luckily Saffron Walden has a wealth of independent Coffee shops and cafes which deserve your custom and are a credit to this beautiful historic town- DO VISIT but give Costa Coffee a miss.
