Having moved to the area recently we had heard good feedback about The Market House and were looking forward to trying it. Having booked a table a few days before our visit, we arrived and were seated in the front window of the bar area, on really uncomfortable stools where you were too low to comfortably eat from the table. This is such a gem, great staff, fab food and I love the live music they have here. The drag bingo night was by far my favourite. Such a warm family feel when I’m here, always welcoming and attentive.

Grey wet day in beautiful Saffron Walden, improved immensely with a warm, comfy stop for lunch. Very welcoming... Very tasty... Delicious lunch. Ciabatta with Brie and bacon, fries, salad and coffee.
