My husband Tony and myself Karen had Christmas Dinner the food was excellent actually we had a 3 course dinner can't complain about the food it was excellent wish I took a picture of food we had a fantastic time would like to say thank you to josh the chef and the staff for lovely time we had a 3 course meal can't fault it. Well worth the money ??

The Sunday roast was delicious!
Our waitress was excellent!
Restaurant decor & atmosphere is very nice.
There is a fabulous outside area for alfresco eating or to just have drink before or after your meal.
We will definitely be returning, soon!!

Had a great laugh with the staff and management, really great warm welcome, we had Sunday Lunch and the price was excellent for what we had, food was hot and tasty.
Only quibble no coffee machine for coffee ☕️ thanks guys !!

First time visit 26th May 2025 - very happy we did.
Great service, welcoming and quick to seat and serve us a drink. Although busy, food arrived quickly and was very tasty, staff are attentive and friendly.

The Staff in gregs in South Ockendon are amazing so warm and friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The staff treat everyone like they are family that why myself and my friends make a point of meeting up there 3 or 4 times a week for a cuppa and a snack I can not express how amazing and welcoming the staff are.

Great place, would recommend to everyone, 5 star ?????

If you go in person to the restaurant you get a warm welcome and a very friendly service. I went in with my daughter and they offered her lollies and fortune cookies. They showed her the restaurant with all it's authentic decor. The food was very delicious and for the price it was well worth it. Big portions too. I would highly recommend this place for both eat in or takeaway.
