Came here with my Wife and my two collies. Fantastic place to go and eat and drink, especially if you have dogs. My two collies were off lead wandering around the pub. Our food was absolutely spot on as well. Thank you so much! We will come back again.
After reading reviews on here my son and I decided to visit on our way home. Really lovely old pub. It was a very, very hot day but the inside of the pub remained cool. The staff were amazing - incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was great - we opted for the Sunday 3 course menu. Starter - Prawn Cocktail - stunning. Really different presentation and lots of it. Booked sunday lunch for four after travelling from the midlands prior to flying from stansted airport and all i can say is we loved it with all empty plates which if you knew how fussy the wives are speaks volumes ,will definitely return as we seem to fly from stansted often, only shame was we were all too full for desserts which looked superb
