We spent Monday in ‘lottie’ as a birthday treat. It was a wonderful day. Lottie is beautifully decorated, and we were pleased to see there was a little table for inside and a table for outside. Great base . Morning coffee enjoyed and a read. Went to west Mersey oyster restaurant for lunch . Back for walk, swim and we had brought a late afternoon tea. What a great base/way to spend a day. Great little food hut, unfortuntely cash only as it is an old war shed so they do not have have any signal for a card machine. But the food is great, they sell sea shoes which is usefull as mersea beach is a little stoney on the way to the sea, slush puppies, ice cream, chips etc. Staff are great, young lady named Jesus was my favourite ?.
