2 Coast Rd, West Mersea, ColchesterHad by far the best Chai latte at the cafe this morning with my daughter & yummy chocolate cake, they were so helpful and warmed it up and even added some cream, love this little island cafe, it’s so unique and always such a pleasure to visit definitely recommend as so near the beach for a lovely stroll

It was a much-needed change of pace.The ambiance was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We opted for smoothies, a sausage roll and club sandwich. All were very tasty and well-prepared, meeting our hopes for a good meal.Though we didn’t try the coffee, the inviting aroma suggests it's worth a try on our next visit.All in all, Coastal Coffee was a pleasant surprise in our day, and we’d recommend giving it a visit if you’re in the area.

The Two Sugars Cafe
Victoria Esplanade, West Mersea, ColchesterGreat little food hut, unfortuntely cash only as it is an old war shed so they do not have have any signal for a card machine. But the food is great, they sell sea shoes which is usefull as mersea beach is a little stoney on the way to the sea, slush puppies, ice cream, chips etc. Staff are great, young lady named Jesus was my favourite ?.
