This pub is a well run establishment that does amazing food. We stayed in Old Sodbury for 3 nights and ate here every evening. Had a different choice each time and they were all really good. The Lamb was my favourite really tasty ?. The staff were very friendly and polite too making you feel really welcome
This is a nice pub and the food looks really nice, although we didn't try any when we visited but we'll definitely return to try it on another occasion.The beer and cider are both well kept and reasonably priced.
Can't fault the staff, they were lovely, friendly and professional. Food however was disappointing. We all had roasts. Food arrived on cold plates, only thing hot was the roast potatoes. The meat was overdone and the veg was undercooked. We've eaten at The Dog many times and the food has always been great, but today was very disappointing.
