The Salutation Inn
Ham, BerkeleyGenuinely one of the best pubs I think I've ever been to - matches everything that a great pub should be. Lovely selection of Cask Ales, Lagers and Ales on tap and 5 or 6 'real' ciders. Bar snacks are a reasonable price, dog friendly, and a fire. The temptation of the real ciders meant that I wasn't able to taste the on-site microbrewery's selection of beers, but I can imagine that they would've been fantastic given how many other patrons were ordering them.

The Boars Head
Boars Head Inn, 14 Lynch Rd, BerkeleyWe had the pleasure of celebrating the 30th anniversary of Motion Media last night. We chose this venue as it was a 'local haunt' when we converted the old service station building into our offices.35 people, many of whom hadn't seen each other for 20 years, spent a very enjoyable night here. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious and the attention to detail from all the staff was second to none. A huge shout out to Karen and team; from our first phone call to enquire what might be possible, to the event itself was all handled with passion and professionalism, they really couldn't have done any more for us.Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free taken very seriously and plenty of options available.

Perfect Blend
1 High St, BerkeleyWhen coffee has become a commercial as it has, it is refreshing to find a cafe with such a warm and friendly atmosphere.Their coffee is absolutely fantastic, and while I only had a simple bacon sandwich, the bread was fresh and delicious with perfectly fried bacon!I really cannot put in to words what a joy it was to stop here.
