Hotel Chocolat produce (in my opinion) the best chocolate. Their motto of using more cocoa and less sugar is certainly noticed. True chocolate should be pure cocoa with only the tiniest dash of sugar (unlike Cadbury and Thornton's which is nearly all sugar). The friendly staff; indulgent atmosphere and of course, the best chocolate, make this a retailer worth visiting when you fancy a little treat or are given a gift! I bought some chocolate for my parents but it turned out to be stale. We usually buy chocolate from here and felt it was quite unusual. I returned to store and was not offered a refund by a Sales Assistant. I complained to HC via the website and soon the Store Manager Chantelle got in touch. She called me and listened to the problem I had and apologised for it not being resolved first time round. She invited me back into store to get a refund.
