Very good fish and chips. Cooked fresh and worth the wait. Young serving staff, a boy and a girl, were polite and friendly. When the boss appeared, the mood changed. He was quite abrupt and talked down to them. It was awkward as a customer to listen to it. Very patronising. It's a shame because he is clearly brilliant at cooking and knows his business inside out. Definitely recommend the food. Eat in available too.
A strange place, I'm not sure about it, I've been several times and can't figure out the opening times, seems to do more lunch time trade than evenings. The food has been good, nice size portions and well packaged to take home. Service is a bit hit and miss, though. The older chap who does the frying is quite unfriendly; the girls who usually serve seem OK. The atmosphere in there is just a bit iffy, not a place to hang around.

Best fish and chips in the south west no doubt. The haddock is freshly battered and u gotta be quick cuz they run out very quickly. I’ve been waiting months to try but today was my lucky day. Good prices aswell 6.30 for a whole haddock. Will be back every time I pass
