Greenhill Coffee House

Such a cute little cafe in cinderford. I’ve lived here for 3 years and only recently found out it was there. Could do with better signage outside or more social media presence as it is a little gem ?

Muzos Cafe

Have taken my mum here for coffee and/or lunch a few times recently when I’ve visited her as it’s a short drive from home & easy to park. Confess from the outside I wasn’t sure but inside it’s clean, tidy and a lot more spacious than you think. The staff are always nice, the menu is vast, the coffee good and food good value for money and generous portions. I

The Hearts Of Oak

Didn't have food as went to listen to Drybrook band giving a concert in the grounds in front of the pub. But the staff were very friendly and did everything to make the visit a success

Akash Indian Cuisine - Restaurant - Takeaways

For my 50th they managed to fit my entire party of 13 in at 5 mins notice when the other curry house in Cinderford forgot about our booking. The food was marvellous, service very polite and attentive. Not the best decour but the food more than makes up for it. Defiantly the best curry in Cinderford hands down. Price was very reasonable. Only place I get a curry from in Cinderford.

Curry Leaf

Travelled down from Essex and was looking for the best curry in town and by jove did I find it. Ordered a takeaway and it was ready for collection in 30 minutes, extremely reasonable pricing considering what we ordered and the food was delicious. Top marks to this place.

The Chippy

Very easy to order online. Delicious food, great portion sizes, chips done to perfection. Really friendly team when we came to pick up our pre-order. Wish I lived nearer (we are on holiday) as I could have seen us quickly becoming regulars! Highly recommend.

Ruspidge Fish & chips

The food and service here is always top notch. I’ve tried a few different curries now and they’ve all been spectacular. Me and my daughter eat from here regularly and are always made welcome in the bar while we wait for our food. I can highly recommend this place and always do. Thanks to all the team!

China House, Cinderford

Took a chance on the google rating alone and this was a good meal. Polite and efficient service.

Cash only, but there's an ATM over the road at the petrol station (also a Spar shop & Greggs to buy a drink or two to go with dinner).

Nags Head Inn

Always a good night to be had at the Nags. Live rock bands every Saturday night. TV screens for sports although I wouldn't call it a sports bar. The drink prices are really good. Friendly staff.

The Mount Pleasant

Pick a Pizza Cinderford

Good pizza + plenty of other options on the menu. It's chilled inside with some cool neon lighting. Currently they only accept cash.

Parking: Hopefully you can find a free street parking space right outside Pick a Pizza, but spaces are very limited. If not, head to the nearby paid parking lot, or there is a free parking lot about 3-4 minutes walk away.

The Dog House

What a lovely little pub. First time I have been in there tonight and the atmosphere was so friendly and inviting. The Gent behind the bar was lovely. Drink prices very reasonable. Cosy and welcoming. Definitely will be returning.

Lotus

Fantastic takeaway meal for my granddaughter's birthday - excellent food, everyone loved the cripsy duck pancakes, chow mein, crispy beef and spring rolls. Just a great shame the Lotus is now no longer a restaurant - maybe Mark Terry-Lush and the HOOP team who are trying to save the hospitaloty industry in the Forest could give support?

Cinderford Fryer

Visited today for the first time since the takeover and have to say we were really impressed. Food was lovely, chips were fluffy and fresh and not too greasy like other places. Yes there was a bit of a wait but I’m happy to do that if it means fresh food rather than something that’s been sat in the warmer for hours. The range of extra sauces etc was also very good and the curry sauce was delicious. Prices were very reasonable particularly the £5 box meals. Will definitely be returning that’s for sure.

Saj Indian Limited

We decided to try our local Indian takeaway for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich and authentic flavours that really hit the spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions, which were more than generous. Every dish was cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.

Cinderford Kebab House

Thank you for the excellent service, outstanding food and brilliant atmosphere at cinderford kebab house, 10/10 shall recommend to everyone this is the best of the best takeaway food shop in the forest of dean.

Spice Mahal

Absolutely Fantastic food....staff are really on the ball.... As me and my partner waiting for our takeaway... The phone was non stop, it was always answerd within a few rings.
Food is so tasty...

The only negative I found was while waiting for our takeaway by the door and waiting seating area it was really busy. Felt like a cattle market ... However just goes to show how lovely the food is... Not many places don't have the option of delivery... This one does not have delivery but... People clearly happy to come to you to pick up.... We did and we will again..

Fork & Spoon

It was our first time ordering tonight from fork and spoon and it was the best Chinese we have ever had - everything was cooked perfectly! I don’t normally leave reviews, but when previously ordering Chinese's from other takeaways in Gloucestershire over many years they are always hit and miss, so I just wanted to shout out to how lovely it was and we highly recommend!

Magic Wok

By far my favourite Chinese after trying all the local ones! And they also take card payments :)

Edit- I get some of the other reviews sometimes the meat can be hard which is a real shame because when it good it's really good.

The Jolly Forest Fryer

I stayed in nearby Steam Mills this weekend with 5 friends and not knowing the area we struggled to find somewhere to deliver but luckily passed the Jolly Forest Fryer on our walk back from the pub. We ordered a couple of pizzas, fish and chips, and some chicken kebabs and were incredibly impressed by the cost, the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If we are ever in the area again we would make a point to visit the Jolly Forest Fryer.
