This is a disgustingly unhygienic ? place with the worst customer service in Cirencester. Dirty and uncleared tables, the staff (older gal named Sophie) makes judgements on the customers and sarcastically laughs in your face. If that’s not enough to turn you off, the lavatory is disgustingly dirty with water on the floor and urine and dried excrement on the loo seat. I asked if they had cream tea, and she disrespectfully laughed and said that I have to go to Cornwall for that! I’ve had cream tea in London, Oxford, Tetbury, and Cirencester! Then I asked if I could have milk for my tea, and again she (Sophie) laughed and sarcastically said “ohh wow how unusual..”. This was unequivocally my worst experience in Cirencester. If anyone is looking for a place to have a coffee or afternoon tea, please go somewhere else where the staff actually care.

I really don’t recommend this place. Terrible coffee.

Great little coffee shop.

I think there’s a serious staffing issue at this location, as others have noted. The product is very good, but it’s nearly impossible to get a correct order. The people making the drinks are usually great, just overwhelmed by how much they have to do. Today, however, the lady on the till snapped at me when I was making sure my partner, who is hard of hearing (and whose hearing aids are not always helpful in the noisy environment of a packed coffee shop) had ordered correctly, crossly commenting, “Yes, we got there in the end.” Well, in the end, we were given the wrong order anyway, which seems to be how it goes.

Slow service, uncleared tables, toilet very dirty, with no toilet paper, water all over the floor creating a slip hazard, loo had pee all over it. When staff made aware said they would get round to it when they weren’t so busy. If they can’t keep it clean it should have been closed off. An accident waiting to happen.

It's a busy & large Coffee shop. Great choice of drinks. Coconut milk Latte was very nice. Poor choice for cakes/biscuits, plus very overpriced for the size. Allows dogs . Seating was OK, not the best for 6 plus. Chairs weren't that comfortable. The only available table for 8 was by the busy toilets, that should have been cleaner ! Only one staff member was talkative and friendly. Flat white was small and not that hot.

After a walk around Cirencester Park with a group, we went to coffee 1. Some of us had cakes, and some didn't. All was

The coffee here is the best in town, you can tell the staff have been properly trained. The staff are always willing to help with any queries and give customers the time to ensure they have everything they need. The lady with the glasses is welcoming and well spoken which makes a difference. Lovely atmosphere where all are welcome, will definitely stop off here again.

Very rude staff. They were not only aggressive to customers but also to each other. Very uncomfortable to watch. They are clearly trying to emulate bigger coffee shop chains, but unfortunately, they miss the mark. I would avoid this establishment and choose the independent coffee shops in this small town who would greatly appreciate the support.

Great coffee chain, service was amazing as there only appeared to be 1 hard working member of

Understaffed as it was very slow service and they obviously didn't have anyone clearing and cleaning cups, as they were serving coffees in take away cups. This was the second time this year to this coffee shop and had the same problem last time. The coffee was also bitter, so needed more sugar, which was annoying as you had to ask for it from behind the counter. The staff were rationing the sugar which was ridiculous, never had that anywhere else. Leave the sugar out front for people to help themselves for goodness sake. Will try a different coffee shop next time.

Queued up to order a coffee on a Saturday afternoon and gave up (together with several other customers) due to the Staff inability to cope.Four people behind the counter, two cleaning only one young man making all drinks and one very flustered looking middle aged woman who wasn't sure what to do.I bet the coffee is nice - great mugs, I would buy one if they sold any - and I am hoping it's a chain so I can try the drinks somewhere else because making the coffees doesn't take 10 minutes, not even using a Moka on a bonfire!PS: come back on Sunday morning: ordered two hot drinks and a mince pie ( delicious ?) but the service was terrible: I offer to collect the mince pie as I was delivered the coffees but I was told that it would have been taken to the table.I waited for it but no joy so I asked for it again.Apparently the two girls behind the counter were more interested in petting a big white Husky dog rather than tend customers, or clear/clean tables. There is a weird system to obtain sugar which involves mind reading and looking through a few drawers in a little cabinet by the drink station?!?Mince pie was the best thing.I have to say that the young man serving me was making an effort and he was polite and friendly so I changed my scoring to two ⭐... But that's as far as it goes I am afraid. There were dogs at the tables, eating off customers hands, hence hair, saliva and whatever else an animal entails. And I am a square edge Vegan! so I love Animals more than people...
