Second week in a row i have stopped in after a paddle.There is a good menu with clearly identified gluten free options. Staff are always very helpful and quick to seat you and ask for drinks orders. Both weeks they have announced the specials. The curry is gluten free without the naan bread but both staff members checked when asked. Really nice food, with a great selection of cider and ales. Reasonable prices, would definitely recommend.
Stayed in the nearby campsite last year, but called in this time with my parents on our way back from the NEC. Booked a table at short notice, service was great, and the food was just as delicious as the last time we ate there...the only thing I'd like, is another veg on the Sunday dinner and for the meat to be a slightly thicker cut or add another slice as they were quite small/thin..

First time I've been here but decided to try it after driving past on my way to the wildfowl trust. Lovely looking pub, nice old fashioned interior. The service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. Will definitely be going again ?
