Enjoyed a two night stay at The Bell Inn. Service good, food was great, particularly the Venison steak but I also enjoyed the fish dishes. The room was only ok but a little cramped even though it was a suite , with sitting room kitchen ,but the bedroom was a side step shuffle around the bed with not enough room for a table on one side and the door only just swung past, meaning you had to take the handle and then step backwards until the door swung back against the wall 180° before...read full review
We walked along the canal to here. We just had a drink and because the pub was so busy, sat outside (they had a regatta on the canal so it was expected!). We will definitely return as the food looked
New year day walk finished at the Bell Inn for a spot of lunch. Been here once before and had a really nice meal so after our walk was ready for some good food. We were made to feel welcome by the staff and even though there was no space in the restaurant we were told we could grab a table in the bar area and order food from there.
